Procurement & Logistics Specialist

Job opening

As we are growing fast, we’re looking for a proactive Procurement & Logistics Specialist to keep our supply chain running and our drones flying. From sourcing the right parts to managing smooth deliveries, you’ll help us build the future, one shipment at a time.

  • Salary:
    €3.200 – €4.200 p/m (based on experience)
  • Contract:
    Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Location:
    Den Bosch, The Netherlands

Build the foundation. Shape the future.

An inspiring team

We’re a fast-moving startup building next-generation battery systems for drones and electric aircraft. At Tulip Tech, you won’t just follow a test plan — you’ll write the playbook. We’re a small, hands-on team that values smart thinking, building fast, and doing things right.

Help us power the future of transportation with batteries that fly.

Before You Hit “Apply”

There’s something you should know. Tulip Tech isn’t a place where you just fill a role. We’re building the future of flying machines — drones and electric aircraft — by reinventing the batteries that power them. It’s risky, ambitious, and sometimes messy work. But if you’re the kind of person who thrives on bringing structure to chaos, read on.

We don’t have layers of management or rigid procurement systems. No mature ERP, no legacy logistics flow — yet. You’ll have the freedom to build and improve how we source parts, manage deliveries, and scale our supply chain. This is foundational work. If we don’t have the right parts in the right place, nothing flies.

We’re small, fast, and serious about what we’re doing. If solving problems independently, working closely with engineering, and owning real impact sounds more exciting than intimidating — you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Your Mission

We’re looking for a Procurement & Logistics Specialist who can handle both strategic sourcing and daily operational logistics. You’ll own our purchasing flow from supplier outreach to on-time delivery — working closely with engineering, production, and external partners.

Dutch fluency is required — you’ll be working with local suppliers, transport companies, and Dutch documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Purchase materials, parts, and components for production and R&D
  • Find, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers (local and international)
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and conditions
  • Manage purchase orders, order confirmations, and delivery schedules
  • Take full responsibility for inbound and outbound shipments, including planning, follow-up, and customs if needed
  • Work closely with engineering teams on BOM sourcing and updates
  • Improve procurement and logistics processes as the company grows
  • Solve supply issues fast and keep everything moving behind the scenes

What You Bring

  • MBO4 or HBO degree in logistics, supply chain management, commercial economics, or a related field
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics
  • A proactive, practical mindset — you don’t wait to be told what’s missing
  • Strong organization, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a technical environment
  • Bonus: experience with shipping, customs, or electronics manufacturing

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary between €3.200 – €4.200 gross/month (based on experience)
  • 38 paid days off per year based on full-time (25 vacation + 13 ADV via CAO Metaal & Techniek)
  • 8% holiday allowance, travel reimbursement, and a pension via PMT
  • A chance to shape procurement and logistics in a fast-growing tech startup
  • A tight-knit team that values initiative, trust, and getting things done
  • Coffee, smart people, and a high-tech product to be proud of

Ready to Keep Us Moving?

If you’re the kind of person who loves making supply chains flow smoothly and solving problems before they hit production — we’d love to hear from you.

In 2020, Tulip Tech was founded by Bernd Rietberg and Olivier Witteman. Their goal? To make high quality battery systems to enable the drone revolution and sustainable passenger e-flight revolution.

Following up from their project of building a passenger drone, they concluded that safe and high energy density battery systems are essential in aviation and robotics. Simultaneously, their partner network grew and this enabled them to leap further than before.

Over the years, the team has grown and gained valuable experience in R&D and production.
